Having just released their stellar new single Shine, Kill Moon spoke to AMBY about turning water into wine and having seven testicles.
AMBY: How would you describe Kill Moon’s sound to those unfamiliar with your music?
Kill Moon: Like Crying and wanking at the same time.
AMBY: Where did the name Kill Moon come from?
Kill Moon: From The Killing Moon- The Echo and The Bunnymen. Great song.
AMBY: Jupiter is a fine song, what is the story behind it?
Kill Moon: It’s about the Inevitability of the universe.
AMBY: What does the band have planned for 2013?
Kill Moon: Lots of new songs and lots of gigs.
AMBY: If you could create a law that everyone would have to follow, what would it be?
Kill Moon: We would turn water into wine.
AMBY: Who would your dream gig be with?
Kill Moon: The Beatles (alive of course, dead would be messy) supported by Nirvana with Paul McCartney fronting it.
AMBY: Which artists have you been listening to lately?
Kill Moon: Nirvana, The Pixies and The Beatles. Of new bands HAIM, Peace and Palma Violets.
AMBY: If you could invite any three people to dinner, who would you choose?
Kill Moon: Emma Watson, Lennon and Jesus.
AMBY: What is the best song of 2012?
Kill Moon: The Wytches- Digsaw, Palma Violets- Best of Friend and Peace- Follow Baby.
