The Banter Thiefs are made up of David Clark (guitar/lead vocals), Derek Watson (bass guitar/vocals), Keith Condie (guitar/vocals) and Darren O’Rourke (drums).
We are a four piece indie band from Motherwell, Scotland. We’ve been together since late 2007, with the current line up being together for the last three years. We are all in our early twenties and we generally enjoy all the aspects of being in a band. We specialise in high energy performances and tend to write songs about urban life.
To sum up, we work hard as a band and as a group of mates but never let go of the excitement and enjoyment of playing our songs to a crowd of people. This is what drives us on.
