We at Burning Condors would like to formally invite you to our Rodeo Disco. Mr CJ Church will be supplying the bass lines for you to rumble along to whilst Matthew (Guitar), Jimmy (Drums) and Marcus (Vocals) aim to fill in the gaps.
Having met in England’s capital back in late 2009, trading off each other’s respective musical penchants has led to the creation of a delightfully tasteful musical experience that can be heard on singles ‘Honey Trap’, ‘Knockout’ and ‘Riot in the Streets’. ‘Early Libertines energy and spirit, the Clash camaraderie and Strokes swagger that took an interest in the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion’ is what one music journo so eloquently gushed as he removed his tongue from our arse.
Not so long ago we migrated to Nashville, Tennessee where we drank honey whiskey and Mountain Dew till it came flowing from our feathered ears. We also recorded a damn good debut album whilst there called ‘Round Our Way’. We even roped in one of Johnny Cash’s old drinking buddies (and bassist) to put his stain on a track. But don’t take our word for it, you can hear it with your own ears in September – we advise you note the date on the underside of your eyelids.
Branching out…we are more than partial to a tasteful collection of visual art, thus as a bit of foreplay we encourage all to feast your eyes on the Emma Vo / Burning Condors creation that is the ‘Knockout’ photo video which is knocking about all over the internet at the moment…
Back to the music and we feel it best to forewarn you that Marcus has been known to put his lungs through their paces during live sets, something that once led to a trip to the emergency room. Needless to say we take our Rodeo Disco to the max, so to see which city nearest your dwelling we will be visiting check out our 2013 live shows confirmed so far here. Feel free to delve further into the fire by liking our Facebook page and following our Twitterings at @BurningCondors.
Enjoy and get involved :)
