AMBY: Hello Work Drugs! Thanks for having a chat with AMBY, what have you been up to lately?
Work Drugs: Writing and recording new material, and getting ready for a bunch of west coast shows.
AMBY: How would you describe your sound to those unfamiliar with your music?
Work Drugs: Smooth fi – post romantic
AMBY: You have recently released your debut album, Mavericks. Which tracks are your favourites?
Work Drugs: West Coast Slide and Young Lungs probably.
AMBY: What’s the story behind your excellent song West Coast Slide?
Work Drugs: It’s a song about west coast living and love. The names and places have been changed to protect the innocent.
AMBY: Where is the best place to get a cheesesteak in Philly?
Work Drugs: Jim’s steaks on south street.
AMBY: Which three of your influences would you love to hang out with for a day?
Work Drugs: Sade, Michael McDonald , and bill Murray

AMBY: What’s the funniest thing to happen to you at a gig?
Work Drugs: Being mistaken for the leader singer of Two Door Cinema Club.
