FOESI heard the first song by FOES in about July and since then I really wanted to see them live because their sound is incredibly stunning! Now, on Friday 6th Dec., I finally got to see them, when they conquered Birmingham’s Sunflower Lounge.

Starting off with pure class track “Apple of Shanghai” the Birmingham based  garage/rock band made up of Alex (bass), Tommy (vocals/guitar), Drew (guitar) and Marcus (drums), continued with “Lies” and also played all other songs of their EP “Tú Casa”, pleasing the excited audience with a fantastic performance.

About 80 people witnessed an amazing show and the Sunflower was packed, as it is only a small venue, however, FOES should be heard by a much bigger crowd, they would really deserve that as they are not only a great live band but also absolutely nice lads who simply enjoy playing music and have fun together on and off the stage.

I am so glad I met the guys and I will definitely continue to follow them to see what they’ll be up to in the future. I myself can’t wait to see FOES live again and if you ever have the chance of seeing them then go for it, because FOES are brilliant!
