I Am The Devil by Seán Grant and the WolfGang has such an authentic feel of the Deep South of the USA that it comes as something of a surprise that the sound hails not from there but from England’s Milton Keynes. The track was brought to my attention by a post from another local musician, Luke Duffett of the band Swoons (of which more another time).
The track is available as a free download on Seán’s website and has been released with an extremely accomplished and professional video shot by Mango Crush Photography. Both should herald a wider audience for the track and the artist.
Sean Grant and The WolfGang have the feel of a band who have done the groundwork and arrived fully formed. There’s no hanging around watching the growing pains of a new act, just heading straight to luxuriating in the enjoyment of a sound that is fresh and ready.
