5- Paul Banks support, Babylon, Istanbul
We played two nights in a row with Paul Banks at Babylon in Istanbul. Definitely best venue in Turkey. It was a sold out show. Very fun to play with him. Really kind man also shouted our name on stage like ”I’d like to thank The Away Days, they are great!”
4- SXSW 2013
Very crowded and full of crazy people were waiting for us at that gig. SXSW was a mental experience. We played at a rooftop with a wonderful view.
3- The Garage, London
It was our debut London show. Lights were great. Really enjoyed that show. Will come back again this December. Looking forward to playing again.
2- The Great Escape Festival, Brighton
We played on the same day, same stage with The Wytches. Just after ”Fun Adults”, the weather was too hot. It was an alternative stage which organised by Bee Adamic. She’s so lovely person. Also tweets came from Cave Painting while we’re playing. They were watching us at the bar. Lads. Whatsup?
1- Supporting Belle & Sebastian, Istanbul
A huge stage as big as Pyramid Stage, thousands of people, great night! Nearly smashed the guitar in the end. It was a game changer.
