After all coincidentally moving into the same flat, except our drummer who joined later on, we decided to start jamming…..if not mainly to drown out the sounds of the clubs below and have been playing ever since.
Earmilk referred to us at 70’s rock, which is new for us but we can’t deny that Pink Floyd & Fleetwood Mac aren’t being played on the speakers whenever possible in our flat. Other bands high up our list that have influenced us over the years go from Local Natives to Tame Impala, The Strokes to The Beatles and Alt-J to Dire Staits, although we could go on.
Describing our sound is always a difficult one, so we often like to let other people do it. One of our personal favourites is “combining catchy pop melodies and a driven rhythm section, which infused with an ambient wall of sound, creates their own spin on modern pop.”
Despite our music displaying an essence of rock we normally go with saying that we’re Ambient Pop although a lot of our songs vary.
Our live show flits between acoustic songs accompanied by harmonies to more full on tracks soaked in reverb that you can vibe out too, with either two rhythm guitars or lead guitar and keyboard at the helm being pushed along by bass and drums.
We’ve recently released our single Undress your Soul along with our new music video for single Lilly. Our E.P is to come out this October and we’ll be looking to get busy gigging before the festival season rolls around again. So in the mean time with winter coats and hats slowly coming on, we hope you enjoy our music and maybe even see you in the near future at one of our shows.
