RxGF
Hello, Toronto, and everyone in Canada who wants to hear what Tim Burton’s dreams sound like. Well, that’s what was recently written about our new record, Any Other Way, and we quite liked that description!

This is Angeline and John from RxGF and we’d like to tell you a little bit about ourselves — our sound, style, influences, and what we’ve been listening to lately.

We’re originally from Seattle but now we are spread across Seattle, Nashville, Brooklyn, and London (UK). Musically we’re a distilled blend of electro, darkwave, and even explore industrial, trip-hop, psych, and dreampop. Lyrically we write poems that can stand on their own, and we surround them with  soundtracks that help tell the story.

Our musical influences vary widely, and although too extensive to fully list, include Amanda Palmer, Robyn Hitchcock, Bowie, Mozart, Brian Eno, Danny Elfman, King Crimson, Mark Lanegan, and Roxy Music.

Some music we really are enjoying right now include works from Karin Park (Sweden), Trust (Toronto), Overwerk (Toronto), Austra (Toronto), Nazo Fushigi (Andorra), Bear In Heaven (U.S.), and Ruth Willow (UK).

We hope to be with you soon. Canada is truly one of the most beautiful countries on earth!

Cheers, John, & Angeline
