What better way to continue AMBY’s festival season than to cover the festival with arguably one of the best line-ups this year? Don’t believe me? Just watch. Mark Ronson will be gracing Heaton Park this year along with headliners Disclosure and Rudimental and an array of different artists such as Fatboy Slim, Wu-Tang Clan, Ben Howard, and George Ezra.
Mercury Prize winner James Blake is also confirmed to play alongside the likes of Everything Everything, Metronomy, Caribou, and festival newcomer, Ghostpoet. The DJ line up is looking to be just as amazing with legendary electronic music pioneer Richie Hawtin; Hot Creations label head Jamie Jones; Radio 1 veteran Annie Mac and chart topper Duke Dumont. Nicolas Jaar, Seth Troxler, Eats Everything, and crowd favourite Hannah Wants are also confirmed to play alongside rising stars Lapsley, Novelist, and Blonde.
Parklife originated 2010 by the team behind Manchester clubbing institution The Warehouse Project and now attracts more than 140,000 music fans to Heaton Park over two days every year and is the thing most students look forward to after exams.
