Boat Culture
Yo what’s good AMBY! Boat Culture is a four piece rock & roll band (with hints of garage, dream pop, and a lot of other junk) from Toronto, Ontario made up of best buds since always: Sam Myles (vocals / guitar), Duncan Boyd (guitar), Chad Courneya (drums), and Paul Paulypockets Hayman (Bass). Although we’ve all been playing music with each other sporadically since before puberty, Boat Culture as a band is the product of us all finally being back in the same city for the first time since our high school days in London, Ontario.

Playing for just under a year, Boat Culture is in existence for the purpose of writing some real heartfelt tunes that make ya groove in your boots. Described by a fan, our music is one that simultaneously breaks your heart and makes you dance. This philosophy culminated in the release of our first EP, Half Old, released this past June. It has been might with some great reviews from The Deli, Grayowl Point, and One For The People.

We’re planning to tour the east coast and a bit of the U.S., and hopefully record a full length in the New Year.

Peace and Love Always. AMBY ROCKS! and listen to Christopher Owens
