Only formed last July, 2016 is already promising much for BLUSH a young indie rock four piece hailing from Leigh-on-Sea in Essex. Their debut single “Daggers” has already been played out on BBC London by Gary Crowley and a couple of live dates at the Amersham Arms in London have been supplemented with two plum festival slots at the Great Escape in Brighton and Liverpool Sound City in May.
So it’s a pleasure for AMBY to premiere the video for “Daggers”. Directed by Florence Winter Hill, it captures the bands energetic live performance of the track with its supremely catchy chorus (destined to be sung back with gusto at their gigs) and perfect breakdown. It’s a fresh sound from a talented group of musicians that builds on their experience in past projects. The single is officially released on End Of The Trail Records in April but in addition to the video the track is available to stream now on SoundCloud and Amazing Tunes.
The band are composed of: Ben Rotherham on vocals and guitar; Matt Dominey on drums; Henry Ince on guitar; and Jacob Chandler on bass. Keep your eyes and ears open: you’ll be hearing a lot more about them.
