London’s HUNCK are gearing up for the release of their debut EP Never Had A Dream, scheduled for release January 29th. The forthcoming EP is comprised of four live favourites the band had performed over the last year, and also includes a brand-new single, the title track. Today we’re thrilled to premiere the gloomy film-clip for the melancholic, melodic, and hypnotic single.
With its soothing guitars and longing lyrics, Never Had A Dream is the perfect track for these sombre winter days, and HUNCK’s Fred Tyson-Brown seems to agree. When asked about the video, Tyson-Brown shared with AMBY;
“It’s a new year, another dreary winter digs in its heels as we all contemplate the distance of the summer. Gazing out of my window, the yellow sulphur lamps illuminate a swinging pub sign in the winter breeze, here we are, it’s 2016 and our heroes are dropping like flies. Whilst all the while, the slime collude to dismantle our once social society and sell it back to us at private profit to the few. It’s easy to get down about it all isn’t it? But it’s important to dream. We certainly do. We hope you do too.”
