I can’t think of a better way of finishing another year at university than spending a weekend at the incredible Parklife festival. The WHP run 2 day event is back for its seventh year and once again boasts an incredible line up. Major Lazer and The Chemical Brothers are headlining this year’s event.
Once again there is a very strong band line up with Bastille, Wolf Alice, Jack Garratt, Circa Waves, Blossoms, Years and Years, and Fat White Family meaning there really is something for everyone.
Other strong names include Jamie XX, Jess Glynne, Ice Cube, Annie Mac, Katy B, and Busta Rhymes. Craig David will carry on his amazing come back with an appearance and the incredibly Grime explosion is represented by Kano, Bugzy Malone, Section Boyz, Bonkaz, Lady Leshurr, and Casisdead.
And, of course, there is an incredible DJ line up on top of this with names such as Gorgon City, Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Diplo, MK, DJ EZ, and Four Tet.
Parklife originated 2010 by the team behind Manchester clubbing institution The Warehouse Project and now attracts more than 140,000 music fans to Heaton Park over two days every year and is the thing most students look forward to after exams.
This years festival takes place on Saturday June 11th and Sunday June 12th. Get down there. Tickets are available now here.
