2016 is right around the corner and the AMBY team couldn’t be more excited to go out and cover all of the amazing artists coming to Toronto. Aside from enjoying the live shows, this is also the first year that AMBY owner Alicia will be on a panel. It’s called ‘Hot Pod’ My Podcast is Bigger Than Your BLOG and My Playlist Rocks Your Internet! and will take place on May 5th at 11:40AM at Osgoode Ballroom East at The Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel. It’s an absolute honour to be part of a CMW panel and only makes us even more eager to start covering its shows and artists. Dive into the shows we can’t wait to attend;

Savoir Adore, May 5th

One of our favourite bands are performing at CMW 2016, that band being Savoir Adore. This group played one of the best shows we’ve ever been to a few years back, and we’re excited to re-live the experience when catching them at on May 5th at Lee’s Palace when they perform at 9PM. Tickets can be found here.

KLOE, May 6th

If you feel like shaking your booty to some seductive, synth-heavy pop beats, be sure to catch our good friend and “pop AF” music maker KLOE at The Google Office (111 Richmond St, Floor 9) at 6PM for her 30 minute set on May 6th.

Public Access T.V., May 6th

Always sharing their contagious energy and melodic rock tunes wherever they play, the PATV boys are back at Toronto’s The Garrison on May 6th at hit the stage at 12AM. Having seen these New York rockers before, we can vouch that their live shows are not to be missed. Tickets are available now here.

SWMRS, May 7th

American punk-rock band SWMRS will finally bring their latest record release Drive North (produced by Zac Carper of Fidlar) to Toronto as they rock out at Sneaky Dee’s on May 7th. Yet to see them live, we’re intrigued to see what they have in store for fans new and old. The band hits the stage at 11PM and tickets can be found here.

Eagles of Death Metal & The Beaches, May 7th

Having seen EODM and The Beaches multiple times before, we ensure you that both bands put on one hell of a rock show. This stellar line-up takes place Saturday the 7th at The Opera House. Tickets are available here.

That’s just the beginning, folks, as there are so many other bands we’re counting down the days to see! The AMBY team will be running around Toronto like a bunch of crazy people photographing and interviewing, so if you happen to see any of us out at a show, be sure to say hi!
