If chaotic and contagious pop-punk is your thing, you must meet London’s Tokyo Taboo.
Fronted by Dolly Daggerz and guitarist Mike, this duo is influenced by Japanese culture, 80s fashion, drag, and politics. Combine those qualities with their explosive, intense track N.A.R.C.I.S.M. and you’ll realize that Tokyo Taboo are professionals at creating a surreal sensory attack.
Today AMBY is pleased to premiere the video for N.A.R.C.I.S.M., a blistering release taken from the duo’s forthcoming debut album. Dolly and Mike rock out in their Los Angeles apartment, all while destroying things around them. When asked about filming the video, Tokyo Taboo shared with AMBY;
“The video only cost us $200 to shoot but we went a bit overboard when shooting and ended up having to pay a lot in damages and are now banned from using Airbnb!”
Indulge in the video below exclusively on AMBY and follow updates from Tokyo Taboo below. The band’s debut album 6th Street Psychosis is scheduled for release on November 25th via TT Records.
