AMBYeaster 2017

With spring seeming to have officially sprung AMBY’s attention turns to Easter – in particular #AMBYEaster17, the latest in our occasional series of gigs showcasing the best new talent. And this year sees us return to the scene of the first #AMBYEaster at The Fighting Cocks in Kingston, London.

Two years ago that gig saw the then named The F*cks open for Rat Boy’s first gig in town. Now restyled as SAP, this sees the band return to headline on the back of their recently released single “Sucker”.

Coming to town for the night following some scintillating live performances are Essex boys WAX COLOUR who have just dropped a video to their latest track “SPS” following last single “Crude“, likely to be a highlight of their set.

And keeping things waxy, local boys WAX AGE will be opening the night, having recently released their “Rare Copies” EP which has garnered the band the attention of Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing picking up radio plays on each.

Unfortunately indie punk upstarts DEATH PIGS have had to withdraw for family reasons – but we’re looking forward to seeing them tear things up again soon.

Things all kick off at 8pm at The Fighting Cocks, Kingston on Bank Holiday Easter Monday April 17th. The last of the early bird tickets can be found for a bargain £2.50, with regular advance tickets at £3.75 and any left at £5.00 on the door on the day. RSVP to the event on Facebook here.
