The popular French festival Rock en Seine has announced it’ s full line-up for the takeoff in August and it’ s definitely a joyful sight. There are plenty of top acts to head out for, so if you get in doubt on what to priorities while spending time there we here bring a guide for 5 must-have-acts to put on your go-see-list.
It is so lovely to spend time in the City Of Lights whenever there is a chance — just soak in the Parisian feel with a stroll down the endless set of busy streets with cafees and shopping areas, have a stop by the Eiffel tower, and go follow the Seine. When feeling like seeing some more calm and green areas there are lots of neatly held parks as well, where you can take a walk among rough sculptures and grand fountains. Sounds dreamy? Well, it is. Especially during Rock en Seine you will see the fine Domaine National de Saint-Cloud park in Paris filled with state of the art decorations from top graphic designers and the park echoes an intriguing soundtrack on current electronic, pop, rock, alternative, rap, and hip hop acts. We can’t wait to go there again in August and look forward to share the fun experience with you this year. There truly is a whole lot of good shows to dig in though, and we totally get it if you’re not entirely sure on which shows to priorities then. So here we bring you the guide for 5 acts to watch:
Friday, August 25th. Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes + MØ.
The fast rising hard rock band Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes from the UK consists of a fierce frontman with iconic jumps and a ton of tough beats to keep the crowd going. If you like action, then this is the place to be.
On the same day we got the Danish power princess MØ. She is the cheerleader to watch for high kicks, ongoing energy, dancy moves, and sweet tunes that fit well for epic singalongs.
Saturday, August 26th. The Kills + Elements 4.
For the second day of the festival you should go check out the UK / US duo The Kills for a headliner performance that will show you what the core of coolness looks like, and their catchy guitar riffs will surely make your feet tap along.
When attending festivals around Europe, then we try to reach the local acts and talks of the town as well. Elements 4 is one of the French bands that we would like to check out with their solid sound. Being fluent in french language or not, doesn’t matter too much for the listeners, when the band got a sound that speaks confident for itself.
Sunday, August 27th. The Lemon Twigs.
Finally, there is a heavy load of strong alternative rock acts on the last day of the festival. The young American brothers from The Lemon Twigs stick out from the rest and it looks like they will bring us even more colors, plenty of good vibes, and a great party time for the Sunday.
