Alright, we’re Charm of Achilles, our friends call us COA. We started off last November when we started some half sober jamming at Alex’s house. Songwriting influences were mates, ex-girlfriends and ambitions: the typical threesome of topics that come out after a few southern comforts. This acoustic mucking around turned into a band when we performed a few songs at a fundraising gig we put on for a London to Paris cycle in aid of Macmillan and met a drummer. We started jamming and recorded a live session at a small local studio in derby. Since then, we’ve been gigging regularly around derby and Nottingham and now we’ve released our debut EP ‘The Show’. In a nutshell, that’s where we are. As far as the future is concerned, we just want to keep writing, keep playing and hopefully people will enjoy listening as much as we like sharing :)
