Imagine an annual music festival that takes place in the gorgeous Cumbrian countryside filled with masses of centuries old trees and grass that couldn’t be any greener. Add to that equation a very popular main stage, along with an always busy new music stage, and chuck in a few stages hidden under the trees. Got that? Now sprinkle a tad of Frank Turner and his Sleeping Souls, an ounce of Example, and top it off with a nice bit of Suede. What do you get? Kendal Calling, of course. The official Best Medium Festival 2013 is here again with an array of varied but brilliant artists who will all be welcomed to the fields for the weekend of August 1st-3rd.
Now, you’re probably wondering who else is playing? The above headliners along with Razorlight, Frightened Rabbit, Newton Faulkner, Tom Odell, Lewis Watson, Rae Morris, Miles Kane, Happy Mondays, and the increasingly popular Catfish and the Bottlemen. This is of course just a sample of the feast that Kendal has on offer; to indulge yourself on everything, you better get yourself down to the Cumbrian countryside.
