I love this interview. Sure, I might be slightly biased because 1) I grew up listening to The Used and 2) I had the opportunity of sitting down with one of my favourite bands. However, the reason I really love this interview is because it shows how much The Used love what they do, love their fans, and love one another. It’s inspiring to see a collective of people stay true to themselves for so long. From the release of their debut record The Used (2002) to dropping their sixth studio album Imaginary Enemy (2014), The Used have championed unforgettable music and messages for hundreds of thousands of people. Before performing in Toronto earlier this month, A Music Blog, Yea? got cozy in the back of the band’s tour bus to have a chat with Bert McCracken and Jeph Howard. Enjoy our interview below, as we discuss packing for tour, the music industry, working with producer John Feldmann, their two labels, and embracing mistakes.
