This was Eric locking up as we headed to Elvis Guesthouse for our first show in NYC. That pampers box is full of our vinyl…we promise!Elvis Guesthouse is a super interesting venue.. it’s really a bar with an awesome vibe. We took advantage of this side tiled area every chance we got. This is Kurt and I right before our soundcheck. Looks like 1970’s Miami! This was our soundcheck at Elvis Guesthouse. As you can see, the room is pretty small and not particularly built for a large audience. However, we loved the sound and energy of this room. We definitely hope to play again soon. This is a rare look into our rehearsal space. It’s located in the basement of the Fright Factory in Philly. Take a walk around and you’ll find zombies, skeletons, fake blood.. everything you can imagine! #BrocalsWe got around this weekend large in part to our good friends in the band Bel Heir. They lent us their van for our weekend trip and it made life so much easier. Here is Kurt, right before loading in for our headline show at Boot & Saddle.Just a little action shot of Kurt and I that I really enjoy. How about Kurt’s shirt?
At the end of the weekend we met up with Cover Club for a live session. That’s where these two photos were taken. We were told we got to do one original and a cover, the catch was the song had to be from an artist in Philadelphia. So what did we do? Boyz II Men’s “I’ll Make Love To You.” I won’t deny.. It was hard to keep a straight face during some of the verses.
