Exclusive Track Premiere: Noah Kittinger – “N.Y.E.”

It’s been nearly two years since AMBY featured Nashville based Noah Kittinger, then making music under the “Bedroom” banner, when we gave a video premiere to his dreamlike track “We All Need Something”, with his tracks regularly picking up plays on the likes of Amazing Radio and BBC 6Music. Since then Noah has opted to leave behind the Bedroom moniker, making music under his own name marking a fresh stage in his musical progression.

“N.Y.E.” (New Year’s Eve) is his first release in his own right. It’s a very personal track which Noah describes as about being put out of your comfort zone and being forced to look at what’s wrong internally, facing the hard truth and a decision to change or to not change, deciding whether to learn from mistakes or not. Writing the song proved to be a cathartic experience.

The track comes ahead of an EP to be released within the next couple of months. As well as the personal nature of the song there’s a noticeable step up in production values. It channels the elements of Foals, The XX, and even a hint of Massive Attack into a very promising start for the new venture.
