SteelSeries has some of the greatest headsets on the market.
Their Arctis Pro Wireless model is one of them. There is a wired and wireless version of these headsets. However, today I will review only the wireless one.
The first thing I have to say is that it’s ideal for users who dislike cables while the wired version is a great choice for people who prefer sound over mobility.
If you prefer wireless headphones as I do and you’re interested in the Arctic Pro Wireless, scroll down to learn more about this model.
Hopefully, my SteelSeries Arctic Pro Wireless headphone review can help you make the right choice.
The first thing you will notice about these headphones is their design. If you’re a fan of the SteelSeries brand or owned some of their products, you will recognize their touch right away.
It looks almost the same as the SteelSeries Arctic Pro + GameDAC. Additional features have a power and a Bluetooth button. They’re obviously needed for wireless use.
If you like black gadgets, you will love these headphones. They come in black and look elegant. However, unlike the Arctic Pro + GameDAC, they don’t provide RBG lighting.
However, this isn’t a necessary detail. On the contrary, it could be bad for your headphones’ battery life. It will probably drain it a lot faster.
You can notice a lot of controls on the back of the left earcup. They include a mic mute button, a mobile audio cable, a volume wheel, a micro USB charging port, and an aux port.
The wireless control button and power button take place on the right earcup.
One of the main things I love about these headphones is the retractable microphone. You will also get a wireless transmitter which is simple to utilize.
It stands like a headphone amplifier featuring a volume wheel that can push in for a selection and a back button. You can easily control the equalization, and so on.
In the box, you will get everything as advertised including the wireless transmitter, cables, a windscreen for your mic, and of course, the headphones.
However, you will not get a carrying case. Overall, this wireless headset has a great black design. I don’t know about you but I find them both cool and elegant.
Just like the SteelSeries Arctis Pro + GameDAC, this headset is also comfortable. This makes it perfect for gamers who spend hours on their computer.
If you’re someone who wears headphones for hours, this product might be the right choice for you. It’s loaded with foam that seems high-quality.
The Arctis Pro Wireless has a booming sound quality just like the SteelSeries Arctis Pro + GameDAC. It is slightly different but still impressive.
Of course, the GameDAC provides hi-res audio support. However, the wireless version is not less good. It delivers powerful and deep bass.
You will love the kick in bass drums, oomph in gunshots and explosions and the smoothness in guitars. It also has a well-tuned mid-range. You will notice softness at the low-end.
However, there are plenty of high-mids for guitars and vocals to beautifully cut through a mix.
Maybe the highs are where you will notice the main difference between the GameDAC and the wireless version. The wireless model has a lot of highs. It provides crisp details and clarity.
However, you won’t get the same detail and clarity as you would get with the wired GameDAC. This isn’t a surprise considering that wireless and wired models are built slightly differently.
It is perfectly normal for wired headphones, especially gaming models to have better sound quality than wireless headphones.
However, keep in mind that if you dislike the sound profile of your headphones, you can always tweak it with the EQ. This is perfect for people who appreciate a bass boost. It is also useful for people who like a little bit of extra shimmer in the high-end.
The headphones are wireless which means that there are a few key factors to consider.
The wireless transmitter and headphones are designed to carry lossless sound with as little dropouts as possible.
The company is not the most forthcoming with the technology it puts under the case. However, usually, they combine 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
I realized that Arctis Pro wireless works perfectly well. If you’re looking for headphones you will be using at home or work, look no further than this model.
If you decide to take them out while running or exercising, you might notice skips. However, in general, they’re perfectly fine for everyday use and provide great connectivity.
The battery life is also decent. You will get 10 hours of use per single charge. This might be considered a disadvantage by some people who prefer a long-lasting battery life.
This product comes with 2 batteries. You can slot one into the wireless transmitter to charge while using the other. It is simple to change the batteries so you will get around 20 hours of use which is pretty good in comparison to other models which offer less on the market.
As I already mentioned throughout this article, the retractable microphone is one of my favorite things about this wireless headset.
However, does it sound as good as it looks? The answer is yes it does. Most built-in microphones offer a low-quality call sound but not this one.
It’s perfect for making calls but if you want something that will help you record podcasts or videos, look someplace else.

The SteelSeries Arctis Pro wireless set a new standard in the wireless gaming community.
They look and feel great. If you’re looking for something comfortable, affordable and effective, look no further than this headset.
It doesn’t perform as well as the GameDAC but it’s still impressive in terms of design, performance, and comfort. You will love the retractable microphone.
Overall, I can say that these headphones are worth buying. They’re perfect for users who don’t like wires and prefer wireless over wired headphones.
Hopefully, my SteelSeries Arctis Pro wireless headphone review can help you determine if this product is right or you or not.
